Faithdown is a four-piece melodic modern alternative rock band with Justin on vocals, Tones on guitar, Nick on drums and Paolo on bass. I like this album, one of my favourite album compare the previous two. Basically every songs are nice. They do sound like Papa roach to me although a lot my fren doesnt argree with me. Brian Phillip Welch (born June 19, 1970), better known as Head, is an American musician best known as the former one of two guitarists of Korn, and a major influence in the rise of the nu metal movement. Welch left the band in 2005 due to contrasting personal beliefs, to focus on life as a father and a born again Christian. He has since embarked on an eponymous solo project, of which his debut solo album,Save Me from Myself, is scheduled for release on September 9, 2008.

Welch has been tattooed with the words Matthew 11:28 ("Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."), Matthew 6:19 ("Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.") and Matthew 5:8 ("Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."). He also has a Jesus tattoo on his hand that Welch claims keeps him from masturbating.^[6]

Welch's main — if not exclusive — guitar is an Ibanez 7-string. He also had made for him a K-14, a 14-string guitar set up just like a 12-string however with the low A and the accompanying octave string. Most were custom made guitars built and assembled at the Ibanez LA Custom Shop. During the later days in Korn, he, along with James "Munky" Shaffer, made a signature series Seven String Guitar called the Ibanez K7, which was distributed by Ibanez Guitars. He and Shaffer mainly used Mesa Boogie amps (specifically, a Triple Rectifier or Road King). Favored effects included the Digitech "Whammy pedal" [then known as the Digitech XP-100 Whammy Wah pedal], the Dunlop UV-1 Uni-Vibe, Boss PH-2 Super Phaser, Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble, Rocktron Tremolo, and the Boss RV-3 delay. Brian's first ever guitar was a "Peavey Mystic". He later sold this guitar along with a practice amp to Korn's other guitar player James "Munky" Shaffer.

For his solo debut, Save Me From Myself, Head has switched to using detuned six-string baritone guitars.

2008 Badminton IMU Cup

Recalling back Pharmacy Badminton Team Achievement.

When I was in Semester 1 year 2005, which I just enter my university's life, i still remember one senior of mine, namely Lim Wei Ming (aka Uncle Lim) recognised me and came recruit me into badminton team for the annual sports events - IMU Cup. Just for your information, IMU is abbreviated for International Medical University and I'm a pharmacy student :P

and lucky for that year... our team won !! And as far as i know, this is the first time pharmacy ever won ! History has been made !

We manage to enter semi finals...but an unexpected thing just happen... i had food poisoning !! Thus, i cant went and play for pharmacy team ....

I remember i vomitted so badly !!!!! Until i can remember the smell of it... !!! YUCKS !

We only manage got 4th place that year.... wat to do ..

Year 2007... We still wanna fight for it !

Pharmacy team manage against all odds and enter the finals....

But the taste of Gold medal is just a slip away ... We were so near and almost gain the title again ... but in the end, we only manage to get 2nd Place... Everyone fought hard for it. But i do admit that i feel a bit sad that day. It was just so close !

woo hoo ~~ one of my fav band -- Three days grace. They gained fame from self-titled album and continue to fame with their second album named "One-X". As i always mentioned, rockers have to been through suffering and pain to produce great music, so as Adam Gontier, the lead singer of 3DG. He was sent into rehad for an addiction to the pain killer Oxycodone. During rehad, he had written several songs and returned to the band in 2006. Their songs are mostly about pain, suffering and dark-side of life.

Red is an American christian rock band. One interesting fact is that they released this album "End of Silence" on 6th June 2006 (666). They were nominated for Grammy award in " Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album" at 49th Annual Grammy Awards.

The song "Breathe into me" peaked at #15 on the US mainstream rock chart and it won the "rock recorded song of the year" award at GMA Dove awards in 2007.

Their music influence are from Disciple, three days grace, breaking benjamin, chevelle, seether, puddle of mudd and sevendust. After silverchair, i think this is the best australia rock band so far. This band formed by singer/guitarist Shimon Moore and bassist Emma Anzai in the music room of their high school. Maybe one day my band "All phamacy rejects" (type it in YouTube u can find my videos) will make it too ? haaha !!

Yet again, after Avril lavigne's music got worsen after she get married ! Thus, i started to hate her. But Paramore... a band from Franklin, Tennessee. With pretty yet talented lead vocallist Hayley Williams (she's damn hot man !!!!). This album earn the fame and was certified platinum in the US and gold in UK !

The majority of Paramore's recordings come from collaborations between Hayley and Josh Farro (lead guitarist), Farro will first writes the music, then Hayley will write the melody and lyrics. The remaining sound and arrangement will be carried out by others band members. The band isn't just a short pop-punk girl with red hair and a spunky attitude. Their music is like them, it's aged differently. It's sped up, and slowed down. It's emo without being whiney, or bratty. Almost a very literal anti-Avril Lavigne. In addition, their music had come appreciation for Kimmy eat world, Chicago, Sunny day real estate, death cab for cutie and failure.

Wondering how this band got their name? Lead vocal/guitarist, Jim Adkins often fought with his brother, Ed and Jim usually won. But one day Ed got his revenge by drawing a picture with crayon of Jim shoving the earth into his mouth. That's how bore the caption 'Jimmy eat world".

They started their fame with "the middle" single from Bleed American album. Their music is combination of modern rock and punk rock influences. They are good in performing live.
