His father is a famous surfer named Jeff Johnson. So naturally, Jack Johnson is also a surfer in where he began surfing at the age of 5. But one tragic surfing accident hit him when he was 17, thus at the time being recovering from his injury, he acquired interest in music....and thats where it begins....
He has a son named Michael Johnson ... :P
